One of six varying installations found among the Artist concept production of the “Digital” series,.
Digital, a word used not in its association with technology, yet the virtual aesthetic representing continuous connection in which time’s past and time’s present can be visually comprehended.
Each of the six stone installations differ in its form and content, yet is connected by the relief cast upon the surface of each stone running similarly through the “Digital” series.
The (relief) mold used to cast the stones received additional etchings prior to every subsequent casting insuring individual embellishment, while maintaining congruency of the Digital series meanings.
Consequently the harshness of each new casting, coupled with continuous etching deteriorated the mold thus providing ambiguous enhancement of visual appeal within every new stone.
Perhaps like time’s past and time’s future simultaneously bringing deterioration and erosion while dichotomously bringing forth new enrichment…
” had I known and the mold now not completely destroyed,
I would have add the seventh sculpture
aptly titled…………… Digital Irony ”
